PARENTING CLASSES – The United Methodist Children’s Home will be conducting an
“Active Parenting Now” parenting skills class for parents & caretakers of teenagers in the Youth
House on Thursdays, 10 A.M.-12 noon, Sept. 2-Oct.7. The fee of $12.50 covers materials. To

DISTRICT WORKSHOP - There will be a “Marketing Your Church” workshop on Tuesday,
Aug. 31, at Rock Spring UMC beginning at 7 P.M. Conference Staff Member, Phil Schroeder
will be leading the workshop. Anyone interested is welcome. Attendance is free, and no
registration required.
DISCIPLE II BEGINNING - DISCIPLE II begins Sunday, Sept. 5, 4-6 P.M. If you are not signed up yet, please call the church office.
THE DISTRICT OLDER ADULT DAY - The District Older Adult Day will be on Thursday,
Sept. 23, at Ringgold UMC. Donuts & coffee will be served 8:30-9:30 A.M.; and registration
will begin at 9:00 at the front of the church. The cost is $12 per person and includes lunch
